So, she changed the name from Number 1’s to The Best, because, as we’ve said before, some of these tracks never saw top spot in their lives. Still, the album cover could have used some boasting and boosting. Cute is out and fierce is in. She should have done something lavish and decadent that honors her long-standing career in the pop world. Like her standing on a very high pedestal and spitting on Ashanti, or something in that sense. But, we get to settle for this re-issue package that’s lackluster in appearance and really doesn’t do anything new to Janet Jackson completists like us.
